Socks/House Cleaning/Flowers

No-one and I mean no one has as many socks as I found in my 3 sock drawers. It was almost like a invasion of socks and half of them had either holes, weren't my size or didn't have matches. I think I threw out about 100 pair and the whole time I was thinking I could find someone who could could wear them so maybe I should hole on to them. Then I remembered I hoared things and need to learn to part from them. That is probably why I had so many I as afraid to let them go.

So I am on the cleaning mood I set out to organize my shoes and found shoes I have not worn in 4 years or more. Tell ya what I just could not part from the shoes. I was tempted to go put them up on the levy for the homeless but then again I remember I recently put some cans up their and the old people walking picked them up. Not the homeless people I see all day walking by.

SO then I started cleaning the place I mean really cleaning. I would swear very corner of this place had cob webs. Top to bottom they were everywhere. Top to bottom they were there. I THEN SHAMPOOED THE carpets and mopped all the hard wood floors and then I found myself washing the walls on the outside. i think the neighbors thought I was nuts o.

Now to my flowers. In front of my place is a nice rock garden with 2 rose bushes. I don't care much for roses never have. I decided to buy some flowers to plant on the edge to make it more homely. OH NO YOU DON'T THE LANDLORD SAYS. They just don't like the idea of that and I am more then welcome to plant them in pots. So I did 4 different ones. I like this better almost because then I can better tend to them. Plants and flowers are like pets to me. They just never make noise. What gets me is would you not think it could better the way the place looks?

  1. We need socks at our house!!! I love what you said about plants and flowers being like pets that don't make noise. I even talk to them like I talk to weenie. "Good girl! Who loves you best? You are doing such a great job!"

  2. I am not a plant person--at all! I like the looks of them, but I forget to care for them and they die. Huh. Go figure.

I am a cleaner, too! I love a clean house and probably put in too much time doing it, but oh well. I think I am going to hire someone to dust for me, though. its gets so bad out here. No wonder we are always sniffling at our house.
